Verizon Dare to iPhone…

I tried. Really, I tried to like the Verizon Dare. But finally the frustration of inconsistent touch screen response drove me back to AT&T and the iPhone. Tapping the Dare's screen to unlock and answer the phone resulted in mostly missed calls. The unlock would never work on the first tap, sometimes on the second, but mostly on the third or forth attempt. The answer screen tap worked the same. End result… missed call. It was when I got the almost uncontrollable urge to just throw the phone that I decided a change was in order. So I stopped at our local AT&T store and picked up a new iPhone G3. What a relief. This phone works flawlessly. It rings… I answer with a simple slide motion. No fuss, no frustration, no missed calls. Clearly getting the Verizon dare was a big mistake.
