Droid, Nexus 7, MacBook Pro Retina…

The new Motorola Droid Razr Maxx HD has replace my iPhone 5. Have tried most of the popular android phones, i.e., Nexus, Galaxy S2, Galaxy S3, Galaxy Note, HTC One, etc. but always went back to an iPhone. That is until I tried the Droid Razr Maxx HD. This is the phone I will keep. Its build quality is excellent, not the cheep plastic used by Samsung. The interface in non intrusive and as close to a true android experience one can get outside of a Nexus phone. Its a Verizon LTE phone with great coverage and fast data. My only issue is the installed Verizon crapware. I just ignore it…

Its bad enough that I switched to an android phone, I have also skipped getting the iPad mini and instead purchase a Nexus 7. Like its price, quality, and functionality. Only wish it had a camera and LTE service. But for the price I can accept these limitations.

Haven’t abandoned Apple as I replace the MacBook Air with a new MacBook Pro 15” Retina. This is clearly the best laptop available today. Its well built, fast, with a fantastic display. This unit has a 500G SSD, 128G of which run a Bootcamp partition configured to run Windows 7 and Visual Studio 2012.
